itunes syncing help

Could some one tell me a while ago my laptop broke so now i am going to sync iphone with another computer if i just authorise another computer with my itunes account and then right click on the iphone in itunes and click "Transfer Purchases" and then went to sync would that keep all the apps the way they are on the iphone now and would i lose anything else besides music? Thanks.

Yes, it'll transfer any purchased music/apps (and free apps), then when you sync it, make sure you tick them (they should already be ticked)
