First off, this is NOT a tip that permits piracy or Internet sharing. It's for the normal built-in music streaming on your local network. That's a fun feature and encourages music exploration--but iTunes purchases only work on an authorized computer. What if you want to share with friends/family/coworkers who aren't authorized for your account?

The obvious answer is to share just your CD music--the songs that need no authorization. That limits your library, but eliminates annoying error dialogs. And you don't have to manually select what songs to share--I found a very easy way:

Make a Smart Playlist of everything whose Kind does NOT contain "protected" and you'll get your whole library minus the iTunes Store stuff. (I added a second criteria to share just my high-rated songs, but that's up to you.) Then under Preferences > Sharing you can opt to share only that new playlist. Bingo--no more dialogs about authorization.

Thats it. I'm sure others have figured this out, but I though I'd share.
