hey guys,

i just sold my powerbook, and am going to be using a pc for a while ... :( . so, i was wondering ... how to i successfully transfer the music files, along with my *playlists*? how do i save my playlists?!

thanks

edit: oops, this should probably be in the itunes section.

If you let iTunes organise your music, then you merely need to copy the iTunes folder. It stores all your music plus some files named iTunes Library (or something similar) which keep play counts, playlist info etc. These files are dependant on the layout of the folders within iTunes Music (which should be in the iTunes folder too, by default) so copy it as is.

All of this is usually in My Music. :)

cool -- i was just double checking if the files were different formats or anything. so just a clean transfer from mac -> pc?
