When you plug in your iPhone iTunes says that it will automatically check your software update on 01/27/10! lol! Isn't that like a given? I attached a pic!

It always jumps forward a week ahead on mine after it checks and there's no update. So....the 27th is a week ahead. Yesterday mine said it would check again on the 27th.

Wow, the OP must not pay attention to what iTunes says every time he plugs in that phone. Mine says it will check again on the 22, does that mean I get an update sooner than anyone else?

I can't count how many threads over 2.5 years that people have started saying the same thing. My iTunes says it will check for an update on the 27 so that means there has to be an update coming....

I really think there's a forum somewhere that sends trolls here before every Apple event trying to get reactions from people for screenshots.

EDIT: Wait, I just plugged in my iPhone and iTunes gave me this message:

"In anticipation of the release of the iPhone 4.0 software update on January 27th, iTunes will play "O Fortuna" at random intervals during the next seven days. To disable this feature simply select "Stop Teasing Me" in the Advanced menu."

Freaking hilarious!
