iTunes Visualizer slow after 12.6.01 update

Hi - anyone else seeing this? Visualizer running on my 2013 retina Macbook pro seems to stutter for about a minute until it gets into working proper...then it slows down again at some intermittent point. after 5 mins or so, then same thing.

didn't have this problem until iTunes update. anyone else? Thanks

Is anything hogging your CPU post the upgrade? Especially if you recently ran a system upgrade.
