iTunes won't Authorize with SSD + secondary drive

I just put an OWC Mercury 3G SSD in my Mac Pro 3,1 to use in conjunction with a rotational HD. OS X on the SSD and Users folder on the rotational drive. I get theses error messages, one on app launch and the other when trying to authorize iTunes on this Mac. I've linked the Users folder to the SSD in Sys Prefs. I've reset, repaired, restarted... the usual steps. Everything seems to be working fine except for this authorizing issue. I also de-authorized my iTunes account and tried again. Eventually I planned on moving the Users folder to the SSD, minus media folders and link them via Terminal to maximize performance, but wanted to try this basic set-up using an SSD first. It sounds like it's something silly, but I don't know enough to figure it out, so anyone that has some ideas would be helpful.

From your first screen shot it looks like it could be a permissions issue.
Have you checked that they are correct?
I have my system and applications on a SSD and all the users folders on a HD in my macbook pro and iTunes works fine for me.

I've repaired permissions many times. All of these below are the same I had when everything was on the rotational drive and no SSD. They never seem to go away for good.



Can you explain how you set up your two drives and how you got your OS and Users folder on them? I used CCC

Ok I got it straightened out. Apparently there were 2 Music folders on the secondary drive with iTunes files. One just outside of the Home directory and one inside. I deleted the one outside and iTunes authorized my Mac
