iPod itunes won't let me drag onto iphone or ipod...

I have been using the 'Manually manage songs" function since I have had my phone and have always been able to drag whatever onto the phone. Earlier today, my dad connected his ipod to my computer and dragged songs onto his ipod, and now when I try to do the same to my iphone, its not working. Also trying to drag again onto his ipod and its not working either.

Any ideas?!

What does "not working" mean? Do you mean it's grayed out when you try to drag stuff over? Is the manually manage box still checked?
