I did a quick search on both the web and these forums, but can find nothing.

I have a Late 2009 27" iMac. I'm running Parallels so I can use ACAD LT 2010. If I load a music CD without Parallels running, no problem: it loads and plays fine. As soon as I start Parallels (with Win XP Pro) the CD contents disappear from iTunes and a couple mp3's are all I get (listed from the XP side of things I guess...)

I have checked the obvious things. The CD drive is set to share. Beyond that, I really can't come up with anything in my pocking around with settings.

Anybody else experience this?

Tony

Thanks, Found It...

It's not under "Sharing", but under "Hardware".

You have to select "Configure" from the Virtual Machine pulldown,

Then select Hardware

Select "CD/DVD 1" from the side menu

Uncheck "Connected"

Now all of the CD contents show up in iTunes.

Thanks!
