iTunes4 max capacity

I seemed to have max out iTunes4 with 12,114 songs. It wouldn't let me import anymore songs. Has anyone run into this issue? Is there a work-around?

The issue is not the number of songs.. I have more..

Do you have enough hard drive space?

iTunes 4 maxing out

Funny thing is I do have more than enough space - all music files are stored on an 160 GB external drive (w/ over 60 GB left)

What gives?
