Do you have to bring your old phone to trade the day you pick up ? Or can you get a trade-in kit sent to you? How does that work if you are picking up and want to keep the old phone a couple of days?

If you’re picking it up from the Apple store, they will ship your old device out for you. Just make sure you take pics or videos just case the trade in partner dispute it.

This will close out your existing loan for the new loan with the device you will be receiving. They could help you to transfer and set it up too.

You have to turn in your current phone at the time of pickup if you are picking up in store.

No offense to the other responses, but they’re incorrect.

When you pick up your iPhone in-store from doing “In-Store Pickup” you are not required to trade in your old phone right away.

You’re only required to trade in when you’re buying the phone in-store and didn’t start the process online.

If you order online for in-store pickup you can send the old iPhone to Apple or trade it in at an Apple Store. They typically give you 30 days to do so.
