I've managed to bind my macbook to active directory. I can logon as ad\parisv

but when my macbook isn't connected to the network i cannot login in as ad\parisv

is there a way i can enable this?

I seem to recall there's an option under "Advanced" settings in the screen where you bind the Mac to the domain, essentially it gives you an offline cache of the profile.

Sorry I can't be more specific, but I'm not at a Mac at the moment.

edit: here. You need to check “Create mobile account at login”.

there is an option called "create mobile account at login" with "require confirmation before creating a mobile account" option underneath.

is this it?

thanks!

i enabled that option then i could login as ad\parisv

but i could login is as ad\administrator

so i look at the diffrence between each user (parisv is in admins group on mac) and parisv has a home folder mapped to F:

i removed this and it's ok. Can you enable homefolders for mac's using active directory?
