I've got the popping on my Macbook

The whole audio out powers down and pops thing. Any idea how to reme dy this or when Apple will?

Can I downgrade to 10.4.9 again?

I am little bit confused.

Is it only when you run on battery? The popping is normal when running on battery power, because the speakers are powered on and off when increasing sound.

The popping on battery power has existed since 10.4.2 so I doubt a downgrade would help at all.
