macOS I've lost useful guide in Xcode

Hi all, I'm not sure if this was on by default or something i've enabled in Xcode in the past but since i did a fresh install of El Capitan and Xcode i've lost it.

When ever you write code inside curly braces you could hover your mouse in the left gutter and it would highlight all the code temporarily within those curly braces, making it easy to see where the code started and finished but i can't do this any more.

Can anyone tell me how to get this to work again for me,

Hi,

If I understand correctly, I think what you're after is under Preferences>Text Editing. Have a play with the stuff in the "Show" section.
