I originally bought the M1 MacBook Pro 13" 8/512 when it was first released, then sold it a year later & went back to Windows with the ACER Swift 3 great little Windows laptop btw.

After about a month I regretted selling it & wished i kept it along with my Windows laptop.

This morning I've decided after much thinking how best to pay for it, I've order the M2 MacBook Pro 13" but this time with 16GB & same 512GB storage on 24 months 0% interest from Apple, rather than buying it outright like i did with the first M1 MacBook Pro, & loosing a big chunk out of my savings, the monthly payments I won't miss.

Now I might be in a minority on here but I actually like the old 13" design with touch bar, & I'm not a fan of the notch screen hence why i didn't go for the M2 Air instead.

One other option I was thinking about was to wait for the M3 13" MacBook Pro if they continue with this design, but tbh what I intend using the MacBook for both the M2 with 16GB will last a good few years, & the next upgrade will be my Windows Laptop in a couple of year time.

The M1 and M2 13" MBP have received a lot of unjustified bad press. It meets a need from people whose priorities and preferences differ from the mainstream. I was close at one point, but went for the M2 Air, partly because I picked up a used maxed out one at a good price.

If you are fine with the design, there should be no problem for you. Just be gentle with the Touch Bar as it is quite fragile. Enjoy your new device!
