OK I am new to the Mac World (well not really been about 10 years since I used a Mac) but any ways, I want to get an iWatch but I do not want an iPhone i love my Android device and I am just not wanting to change. Can I sync the iWatch with the MacBook or do I need to have an iPhone, I know I can not sync the iWatch with Android device.

Just curious before I make the leap to the iWatch.

Thanks
Abdulah

Nope, you will need an iPhone to setup and utilize an Apple Watch.

Here is the bit from Apple’s site:
  • Apple Watch requires an iPhone 6s or later with the latest iOS version.

First things first, Apple does not sell a product called iWatch. Be careful or you might end up with a counterfeit!

Apple’s watch, called the Apple Watch, must be paired with an iPhone. However, pay attention to the World Wide Developers Conference next month, when Apple talks about upcoming software. I wouldn’t be surprised if Apple someday makes the Watch stand alone, as they did with iPods.

OK that is that then I will just stay with my samsung galaxy smart watch then, since I have no desire to have an iPhone at this junction.

thanks
