Helloo all
I noticed that when i use iweb and upload to .mac it seems it takes a while to load all the mini graphics etc..when site is launched.
just wondering if iweb based themes r that slow compared to say rapidweaver themes when loading up in browser? Many sites these days seem to load faster take for example blogspot.com etc when so much is crammed into one page n yet it loads fast.
any ideas?

Just speaking in general, the servers involved are generally more important when it comes to load times. A lot of bigger sites have been utilizing multiple servers with some loading just images and other static information, then their main content from a different server. This results in faster load times even when they have a lot of stuff.

.Mac servers seem to be a little on the slow side, at least that has been my experience from reading other people's comments on this site. iWeb also uses more little graphics than something like RapidWeaver so it will have a little better performance. Again, this is in general, specific cases will vary.

Yeah I've found the .Mac servers to be a little wanting, it's pretty slow, which, if you buy the membership, is hardly great when you've paid £70...
