Am trying to customize the existing iWeb templates to get a gradient in the page background at 1024 x 768. My intention is to get a gradient fill across the entire page- including both the page background and browser background. Now the gradient option is availabe only for page background...while the browser background can only take a solid color fill/image. Any ideas on how I can have a webpage that looks seamless...and not discontinuous?

Thanks.:)

Can't give you iweb help because I've never used it, but the way to get a background with a gradient is to create your fade in a graphics program such as photoshop, crop it to something like 600 pix high and 1px wide, save it as a gif, and then set this as your background image with a horizontal repeat (but not a vertical repeat). You'll then have to set your actual background colour to whatever your graphic is at the bottom, otherwise when the graphic runs out you'll just get white.
