I'm having some trouble with a website made in iWeb - the site works fine locally, but when I upload it to the server the text formatting goes bananas.

If anyone has any suggestions, I'd like to hear! :)

It seems to be a character encoding issue. Not sure what language you're using, but the code says it's English (xml:lang="en"), which may be linked to the problem. Maybe if you have your keyboard set to something other than "English" it may be causing this when you're typing up the page in iWeb.

I'm not an iWeb user so I don't know exactly what you look for here.

I use quite a few umlauts (äöü) and ß on my iWeb site and haven't had that problem.

I agree with angelwatt it's some kind of encoding issue.

When I tried to create a new site in German, I had to create a new user and make that user's system language German. Is your system language Norwegian?

Thanks for the suggestions - my system language was initially in English, but I changed it to Norwegian just to try if it worked. Didn't work - but maybe if I delete the current website...? Doesn't matter very much anyway, since continous editing of the webpage is necessary, and re-coding of every single page is out of speech.
