iWeb multiples files?

I'm running iWeb '09 and A friend is giving me his site to help him with, and sending me the file from his folder: in library/application support/iweb folder.

If I put this in the similar folder on my mac, will I be able to work on his site on my mac? I already have a file in there called 'Domain', which has several sites I have running, which I publish through mobileme, and don't want to disturb.

I was under the impression that iWeb only looks at one file, and all the different sites have to be in that file. Is that not/no longer true? Will I be able to work on his site, without disturbing any of mine?

You can rename that file in that folder. If you double-click the file it will open up in iWeb normally. That seems to be the way Apple intended iWeb to handle multiple web sites through iWeb. For more info check this site.
