None of the widgets get my location, at all... They are going to places around the world somewhere. Is there any way to get this to be my local weather?

iPhone 5 ios 6.1

There is a myweather app or something like that which you need to download.

I have it working with no extra tweaks.

Oh wait. Never mind. I used Dashboard X.

Hmm my local weather in the stock weather app isnt working either.. Something is conflicting it.

The weather app seems to be the issue.. it cant pull location data. Is there a fix for this?

im having this issue too. No weather widgets will pull GPS data.

One i tried that i could enter my zip worked but I didn't like the size of it...

Nah. If you are using the stock weather widget it doesn't require anything. Make sure your location setting are correct , try a reboot.

Some iWidgets do require myLocation for it to pull your location. The_Durben creates most of his weather widgets to work with iWidgets, and his widgets require myLocation. The widget I used on my homescreen required myLocation, so I had to find one compatible with iOS 6. I finally found it from a user on modmyi (king_o_hill) on his repo:

I have a question though... I don't use iWidgets because it seems to work like Dashboard x from youtube videos I've seen. Is there an option to keep the Widget's stationary... and doesn't move away with the icons as you swipe through pages? That's what I didn't like about Dashboard x. Does Dashboard x have the option to keep widgets statrounary also? I usually modify the widgets to stay where they are when swiping pages.

EDIT: For those instailling myLocation, you might want to read king_o_hill's instruction doc. He is very specific on how to install it.

myLocation worked. Thank You!

No problem... BTW... does you widgets stay stationary when you swipe? If it does... I might try iWidgets. That's one reason I won't download Dashboard x... plus I like user mod widgets better.;)

It does not stay. I imagine you could just add the widget to each page though?

Yah... that's what I thought. I prefer my widget not to move since I only really use 2 widgets (weather and time/day/date). If I used more than 2 widgets... then I would use iWidget... since the widgets look better than Dashboard x widgets... and I'm familiar with the source so I can tweak them a little to fit theme's I use.
