Can someone running the beta comment on whether iWork '09 runs ok? Thank you.
[doublepost=1471391521][/doublepost]Can't see a way to delete a post, but I reposted it in the (proper) sticky thread.

Tried to use pages 09 - crashed - too bad :( - was better than the current version

iWeb still works oddly enough

Did not try keynote and numbers - since I am using daily the newer versions.

Sounds like a mixed response. To be clear, I'm only talking about iWork '09 apps. I'm sure the latest versions will run just fine. Thanks for the replies.

Running latest Sierra public beta.
Tried to launch all three apps from my iWork '09 folder.
All launched fine, and could show a new document, as well as open older docs.
I don't actively use '09, other than every few months with Keynote '09, which does not fail me.
I also have the updated Pages/Numbers/Keynote, but continue to keep the old iWorks folder, as long as the apps continue to launch, and on the off-chance that some file will show up that I need to edit with Keynote, and won't open with the latest version Keynote. (I support a couple of different churches who rely on Macs, and I am their primary support guy. One church cannot afford to upgrade to a Mac that will support newer versions, and is stuck with a PPC mini, hence the need for older software support... :D )

So, you migrated from a Sierra system, to the new MBPro, also running Sierra?
If you have already moved to High Sierra, you may want to back out of that, to test iWork 09 on your new hardware.

Your Pages '09 would be at version 4.3, correct?
So, reinstalling the '09 apps worked for you, and all OK now?
