Today, I had to make a Powerpoint for work, so I decided to try making a Keynote presentation in iCloud and download it as a Powerpoint when I was done.

Well, I made the Keynote slides, finished and let is save. Then, I right clicked and downloaded it as a Powerpoint presentation. I then opened it in Powerpoint 2010 to check for formatting and it looked the same. No formatting errors or anything, it was just how I made it in Keynote. "It just worked."

The original Keynote slides were started on my rMBP in Safari, then continued and finished on a Windows 7 machine in Chrome.

Good job Apple!

Needs collaboration with other users if people are going to use it as a replacement for Google Docs.

Baby steps. Got to ship the initial product and get it out of beta first. Features will build out from there.

I like also and agree but am concerned about certain features missing that may not be added. Features like Drop Down list in Numbers for example and some formatting. These features are also missing from the iOS Apps so I'm wondering if they will be added to iCloud AND iOS. I want the iWork experience >99.9% compatible in OS X Apps, iCloud and iOS.
