Is there any way of using iWork on my two Macs via iCloud syncing? I don't have an iOS device so I can't do what the website tells me to...

iWork.com is your best bet for that. I'm pretty disappointed that Apple hasn't integrated iCloud into the iWork for Mac.

Yeah, seemed like a no-brainer, right?? Major letdown by Apple on this part. hopefully coming soon (maybe with the new iWork?).

So wait... I was considering getting Pages and Keynote for iOS because then I could easily access my school work without having to bring my laptop "just in case". But you're saying that Pages for Mac doesn't sync my stuff to iCloud and thus to my iPhone as is the case with for instance iCal?

That sucks :p

You have to go to the iCloud webpage on your laptop and upload the file directly. It doesn't automatically sync to iCloud, which is a massive oversight in my opinion

PR.

I'm really surprised by this as I'd just assumed an update to the Mac versions would go out today the same as the iOS versions and it would work, but it doesn't, very odd.

I've been weaning myself off NeoOffice onto Pages and Numbers in the believe that the documents would then be synced between my computer and my wife's (we don't have any mobile devices). I am very disappointed/annoyed this isn't the case.

I often wondered how each computer would know where the corresponding document was on the other computer. Maybe it isn't even a practical thing to do. But I suppose I'll continue converting my docs to iWork in the belief that Apple will introduce Mac syncing on them at some stage. In the meantime guess I'll look into iWork.com.

I was under the impression this worked with iWork on a Mac. Big oversight. I guess I am back to MS Office/Dropbox/QuickOffice. I was really looking forward to going back to iWork.

This makes me angry, but it also doesn't make a lot of sense. Why does the toggle for documents exist in the settings>iCloud menu then?
