J Kimmel tries to give smart kid a Sony tablet and he gives it back saying he wants an iPad for Xmas. How embarrassing. Sony seems toy be a sponsor because they have a Sony stage. This kid is a wiz and will likely be a Jeopardy champion in the coming years (which ironically is also a Sony property).

That was pretty amazing. It's also funny that Kimmel really can't do anything except make sarcastic jokes because this kid's so beyond his (and my) geographical level. :D Good video!

Smart kid though one thing he needs to learn is how to receive gifts graciously

He's not spoiled. Knows what he likes and he graciously said thank you to Kimmel's assistant.

He'd be spoiled if he said GIMME GIMME to the tablet and still said he's getting an iPad "as well."

I thought he was rather polite.

I thought so too. He said "thank you" to Guillermo.
I think he just doesn't have a firm grasp of sarcasm.
Calling the kid spoiled isn't appropriate though. He could have gotten a free tablet and perhaps even an iPad at Christmas and ended up with two tablets. I guess you could say he didn't accept the gift graciously, but he's only 5.

Apple should invite him to their next event. Sit him next to Al Gore, the kid will be made up.

C'mon it's scripted. Just like "reality" TV..

That said, my daughter not even 10yrs old, begged me to let her switch to my extra iPad mini. I gave her my gen 2 Nexus 7 that she doesn't like

Well ios is designed for kids so I'm sure it will be right up a 5 year old's alley.

So what's your point? I'm sure the kid would rather have McDonald's than a healthy and tasty home cook meal.
Have we become so desperate that we find some kind of validation in a child's opinion on such matters? Lol

Spoiled kid

The kid actually shown maturity that most adults don't have. He knows he's getting an iPad for X-mas, so he figured he didn't need any tablet. I'm pretty sure he would have did the same if it was an iPad since he's already getting one.

Most kids and adults would have took it even if they already had several tablets at home. I'd say this kid is anything but greedy or spoiled.
