I wasn't satisfied with the current Minecraft launchers since they only came in 3 versions and I couldn't get swapping the JAR out to work on them so I made this. It is a fully online mode launcher that uses microsoft auth and lets you connect to public non-cracked servers
Only prerequisite is a modern computer, cURL from TigerBrew and 512mb of ram for 1.2 and below / 1gb for 1.3+
Though since this is just a launcher and doesn't include the game, the download takes some time and it does NOT install OptiFine by default! you need to do that yourself by transferring the jar onto a thumbdrive, adding optifine to the jar, and putting it back in the versions folder
