anyone using Jabra device experiencing issue with M1? I use a Jabra Evolve 75 via Link 370 USB dongle connected to my MBP using a USB-C to A dongle. while I can hear the audio well, when I speak, the people do not hear me well when I am 2 feet or longer away from the dongle.

same issue using USB hub.

yes and no :)

With an M1 Mini it's not a lot different than my older intel Mac Mini. That's using a 370 USB-A dongle.

It's terrible. If you look at the reddit subforum for Jabra it's hard to find anyone that's having a good experience on a Mac. It's way below a useable standard in my experience. Sound output quality is fine, but as you found the microphone experience isn't good.

thank you. I saw another user in reddit with similar situation as I am where Jabra responded there is not a known issue. will file a support case with Jabra and see if it progresses.

It’s pretty hard to believe they don’t know about this, there’s quite a few people made the same reports in the jabra Reddit over quite a long time. It creates an impression that they are actually well aware of the problems and realise they can’t be fixed. Although I’ve a colleague who sounds fine with the older model on a MacBook Air which is interesting.

I use mine exclusively on my phone now where they work fine and use a wired apogee microphone for video calls and webinars.

I’ve not tried them using built in Bluetooth since the 11.2 update but generally the experience has been that the audio quality suffers if you do that although the microphone is better.

Thanks for the input. i am under the impression that perhaps using Link 370 dongle would be a better experience so I never tried Bluetooth connection. Maybe I should check if the Bluetooth route will perform better
