Hi im planning to sell my original 2g phone on ebay (with os 3.01 installed). I was wondering whats the best method of jailbreaking/unlocking the phone? also is their anything i should be aware of? can anything go wrong, and if it does i can just re-install the factory os?

thanks any opinions wellcome

right I get it, this has been discussed many times hence the links. If we could find our answers by just doing a search then there wouldnt be any reason to post anything, and that would make for an empty forum. anyhow you pros have got to remember the newbies and its nice to see the reoccurance of a topic without searching through oodles of pages also they might not even know the terms to search for! remember we were all newbies once!!! anyhow ive never jailbraked/unlocked an iphone before so needed to moral support lol!

No, there would be a ONE thread to ONE topic ratio, each with all the information you would ever need.

We don't mean manually search. That's insane! Do you know how big the forum is?! :D

also they might not even know the terms to search for!

Just put your thread title in that search field. Well, don't actually do it for this thread title, because this thread itself will be the only good result (just tried it). :p

"there would be a ONE thread to ONE topic" - that would be one HUGE thread! lol

"We don't mean manually search. That's insane! Do you know how big the forum is?!" - well I actually thought thats exactly what you meant, i wasnt even aware of mroodle or whatever its called! so yeah in that rspect it was easier to just create a newer thread.

go easy on the newbies, thats what i say! :)
