Jailbreak 1.1.4 HELP

Ok i have the iphone 1.1.4. and i now have "installer" i got it from ziphone. n e way when i go into the installer and install an app. it does not create an icon on my home screen....What am i doing wrong? how do i view the app i just installed?????? PLEASE HELP:mad::mad::mad::mad::apple:
 
Yeah... I'm having the same problem. I install the app (with Installer), but don't see it anywhere. How do you use the apps you install? I'm also using 1.1.4.

my apps are not popping up on my home screen.. so i do not know what is going on i click install when i am in installer but an app never appears on my home screen. i have spent so many hours messing with this......:mad::mad:
 
I would simply suggest restoring and jailbreaking again. I had that problem when I jailbroke mine the first time, and restored and jailbroke again and everything works great.

A question I would have for you is what apps are you trying to install? Not ALL apps have icons or need to be put on the homepage, but instead run in the background.
 
i am tryin to install themes and stuff but i have tried to download mulitiple different things and nothing works i downloadedinstaller through ziphone then i did it throughj iplus NOTHING WORKS FOR ME:mad::mad::mad::mad:
 
It isn't just your phone. Not all themes work right now on 1.1.4, actually most don't work right now. Same thing on my phone. I haven't had any problems with installing games or apps though.
 
well I am having a problem with my apps and games too. It will start downloading and then tell me download failed this is so annoying I want to experience all tv iPhone has to offer but nothing is working for me. I have reinstalled numorous amount of times. I do not know what else to do. :mad::apple:
 
If the install fails... then file might not be available.

I don't how some people can be so childish. Have you tried installing the 1.1.4 Compatibility Patch for the apps that aren't yet "1.1.4 ready"?
 
well I was trying to download that bsd and community sources
