JailBreak and Unlocking questions

Hi, i just wanted to ask, my 3G iPhone is already jailbroken and unlocked, but ever since i have unlocked it, it's been lagging constantly, so im thinking about locking it then unlocking it again to see if it will fix my lagging problem. Also if lock my iphone back will it sill be jailbroken or will i also have to jailbreak it again? Thanks

lagging as in? network? or just the apps wont run smoothly ?

if you update to 3.1.2 the baseband will be new and you cant unlock ATM or never..until theres a way..you can jailbreak 3.1.2 but you cant unlock for now..

You could always restore to 3.0.1
Set up as new phone.
Jailbreak 3.0.1 using redsn0w (or whatever you like to use).
Unlock.

See if that fixes things.
