iPhone Jailbreak for Iphone 5 comming on Feb 3, 2013: Real?

Yes, I saw the other posts, but they are kind of confusing in regards to do the upgarde or not to my I5

It's been confirmed by the jailbreak devs that the upcoming jailbreak will work on 6.0, 6.0.1, 6.0.2 and 6.1.

The official jailbreak will be announced on the evad3rs twitter: https://twitter.com/evad3rs

Estimated drop date is sometime between now and next Monday. Could be soon, could be a little later too.

It's ok op, some people just like to get their undies in a bunch and raise their comment count by feigning outrage at people not searching for things. They have nothing better to do but attempt to get people to think they are smarter than everyone else.

it's more that some poster are a bit more active than others, would the 'regular' ajax 43 have looked at the effort some of us are putting in helping people he might have seen that extra threads with questions that have been asked a dozen or so times the last days and have been answered multiple times don't need another thread.

self education works best, first read and research.

Those are the software versions that will be supported. The OP was asking which hardware will be supported.

Wrong on almost every count !

1) Do I get outraged - of course not, but active posters do get exasperated since reading actually seems to be a lost art.
2) Do I think I am smarter than anyone else - of course not, however I have taken the time to read and help myself to get to the point where I can answer most questions accurately.
3) My comment count is quite high enough, I have no need to "pad" it.

And if the n00bs actually took time to read, search with Google or to try and help themselves, then when we point out that the answers to their questions are already posted, we would not get responses like this (see below)

I don't like to treat others unkindly, but if you can't ascertain the answer to this question after reading the threads here, I have to recommend you stay clear of jailbreaking.

You can do an iTunes update to 6.1 now or wait for the jailbreak to be released, then upgrade.

The paragraph you quoted states that everything running iOS 6 with the exception of the Apple TV 3 will be able to be jailbroken. This is why people get upset....they give you the information, no one reads it!

Yes i posted that. It was the initial thread relaying the information, the question was asked so many times in the different threads that it warranted a seperate thread as to reduce the overall postings and keep people properly informed. It helps the regualr posters in reducing workload answering useless repeats like these and yours

Many of us vets in this area of MacRumors spend probably close to hours each week helping out clueless folk that post a new thread every time they have a minute question. We are all willing to help and answer your questions, but it gets tiresome when someone can't just simply scroll down a few lines to realize their question has been asked many times that same day.

Don't bite the hand that feeds.

We are all willing to help and answer your questions, but it gets tiresome when someone can't just simply scroll down a few lines to realize their question has been asked many times that same day.

While I tend to get out of hand with questions I still politely end my "sessions" with thank you. Altho, I won't say thank you in every post because that good sir is called asslick.

I can see how this will get annoying. Especially the cheek of the OP asking two questions in this thread that can be widely found in this forum and google and even previously in this thread. If people don't at least try to find out a bit of info themselves then i won't take even a second to try and help them. This guy probably wants you to go round his house and jail break his phone as well.

I would like to thank the vets for helping organize the information and help folks. I went to TinyUmbrella and saved my blobs and I'm patiently waiting for a mess of posts that evad3rs.com is live! Like someone else, my backup went corrupt when I was going to upgrade to 6.1. Seems like something fishy there, but I found the backups, deleted and started over and it went fine.
