iPhone Jailbreak ios 7.1.1? iphone 5s 7.1.1???

Hi anyone ;) just wanna ask this quick little question ;)

And that is will there ever be a jailbreak for ios 7.1.1?? since i wanna jailbreak my iphone 5s with ios 7.1.1 so i can minimize icons bitesms etc.?

To answer your question: at the moment there isn't, but I'm definitely sure there will be one. Just don't expect it before the final release of iOS 8. Hackers already jailbroke 7.1.x, but don't plan on a public release as they don't want to waste their exploits. Only iPhone 4 can be jailbroken atm (GeekSn0w semi-tethered)

Oh and next time, use the search function, there already are some threads asking the exact same question.

I'm convinced there will be a public jailbreak at some point. It probably won't be released until after September when iOS 8 and iPhone 6 are officially released. So honestly, expect it around New Years. The iOS 7 jailbreak was released around New Years following the iOS 7 rollout.

In the meantime, yes i0nic showed a iphone 5c jailbroken on 7.1.1. But that won't be released. I beleive winocm's was on an iphone 4 only.
 
Don't expect an iOS 8 JB before the end of the year, there probably won't be a 7.1.1 backport and i doubt a standalone 7.1.1 will be released, too much hazzle for too litlle gain with the high adoption rates iOS has.
 
As I already said, yes there will be one, but wait till after the release of iOS 8. And no I'm pretty sure the iOS 8 JB will be released earlier than new year this time. Because they already found exploits in iOS 7.1 that still exist in iOS 8 beta. If Apple can't fix them in the next beta's, which seems very likely this time according to me (unless i0n1c would go for the cash and sell it to them ofc), then I believe we can already see an iOS 8 jailbreak around the beginning of November. Which means an 7.1 JB would be right around the corner and I would expect it a month later or something. Well this is all just speculating of course. Let's just hope nobody will sell the exploits. Because if that happens, yup it's gonna be waiting till new year.
 
iOS 8 is expected in september, the beta is just out, historically a JB take at least 6 months from release, so end of the year is already quick.
Backporting did not happen from 7 to 6, so that is not expected.
JB 's are ussually firmware specific requiring extensive effort to backport

i0n1c has a working JB but won't release, his business model is showing is capabillities and on that basis acquiring contracts, which is of course his right, afterwards maybe a JB can be constructed from it like p0sixspwn.

Nobody else has a working 7.1+ releasable JB.

Very often apple doesn't patch exploits in the very first beta. They may be patched by the GM though... That's a long ways off.

I think winocm has a iOS 7.1 jailbreak but it was only for the iPhone 4.

I think you don't understand, it is not releasable due to technical issues.
There are more dev's with JB which are none-releasable, but that does not help the community.

Besides that he is joining Apple, so probably no more jailbreak work from winocm...
