hi all I’m new here. I purchased a used iPhone 6 Plus for my daughter to replace her 6s. The new device doesn’t have FaceTime. I called Apple and they said the device was originally purchased in a restricted country. We are located in Canada and I’ve never seen this before. AM I able to jailbreak this device and force FaceTime on for my daughter or am I up schitts creek? Thanks in advance

THanks for the reply chuck. If a jail real doesn’t ones become available. Would there be a way to add FaceTime to this phone?

I don't believe you need a jailbreak. Just do a Google search. There are a number of links that come up under "how to enable facetime without jailbreak".

Here's one: https://www.redmondpie.com/enable-iphone-facetime-app-in-uae-dubai-without-jailbreak-heres-how/

PS. Both the UAE (United Arab Emirates) and Dubai ban Facetime. So, your daughter's phone is probably from there.

@eyoungren thanks. I’ve never attempted anything like this before. I appreciate the help as I didn’t know where to look. I’ll try it today and post results
