Hi guys,

I've an Iphone 6+ with IOS 10.3.2 bought in an apple store in Paris.
I recently move from T-Mobile to Verizon, and with Verizon, I can't use the Personal Hotspot anymore.
So I can't share my connection from my Iphone to my Macbook.

I heard about a tweak named TetherMe, but I need to jailbreak.

So I've 2 questions:

- What is the best way to jailbreak my Iphone with my current version. Is it safe to jailbreak if I don't install weird tweaks ?

- Is TetherMe still working ? Is the best solution ?

Thank you, and pardon my english.

Just because there is a website for it, doesn't mean there is a jailbreak.

Scammers love to take advantage of the fact that people such as yourself do not know much about jailbreaking and what's available. So, they stick up these fake websites with fake 'jailbreaks' and at some point get you to part with money while you get nothing and quite possibly compromised in some way.

The REAL site for the Pangu jailbreak is here: http://en.pangu.io/

As you will see, no jailbreak for 10.3.2.

yup, huge fake!!!
Lol I always jailbreaked my iOS devices up until like iOS 7 so I've been out of it for a while and actually thought it was real so there won't be anything for 10.3.2 for a while I guess?

What about iosjail.com. Is this fake also?
The way this works is…a genuine dev or group of devs release a jailbreak.

It's announced on twitter (usually).
Someone posts that it's real and released on https://www.reddit.com/r/jailbreak/
That reddit page lights up with a bazillion posts about people installing the jailbreak.
Someone who is a user on MacRumors notices this on the reddit page and posts here.
The jailbreak forum here on MR lights up with a bazillion posts about people installing the jailbreak.

Do you notice a bazillion posts about people installing the jailbreak here or on reddit?

No? Then whatever you're finding via your own resources is FAKE!

Ahh, but you say "I'm asking because there could be something that was released between jailbreaks and I missed all that activity."

Right. That tells us all that you didn't read this thread at all because at post #2 it is clearly stated that there is NO jailbreak for 10.3.2 yet.

So, if post #2 is true (and it is) why are you asking if such and such is fake?

I also want to install just a tethering app and I'd like to be able to do it without JB. Isn't there someway to install non apple approved apps through iTunes if you sign up for some developer Account? If so, can one of these unauthorized tethering apps be installed this way?

I thought all of Verizon's plans include tethering now. Which plan do you have?

If you could sideload, as you describe, you still wouldn't be able to do this as these tweaks are not apps (IPAs). They are DEB files which is a whole different thing.

There is a reason people jailbreak. If you can't or won't do it then none of this is an option for you.

The old Verizon UD plans do not have tethering. However, the FCC has ruled that Verizon cannot legally prevent tethering if a customer happens to be jailbroken.
