Ok so this is going to sound stupid but I'm looking to jailbreak my iPhone 4S it's on 6.1. I have never jailbroke my phone before and have no idea how to do so any advice would be greatly accepted. Please don't flame me I just need help.

Thanks in advance

advice 1: wait until 6.1.1 is compatible. no point in jailbreaking now you'll have to redo everything when you update the firmware.

advice 2: head to evasi0n.com, download the software (on your Mac or PC) and follow the instructions :D

what kind of advice that?!

OP, listen to the second reply.
anyways, u don't really need a tutorial. the steps are well explained during the jailbreak. all u have to do is go to evasi0n.com on your computer, download the version according to your computer OS. then open the file, and follow instructions.

good luck.

EDIT: just realized now that 6.1.1 has been released. sorry.

so you might wanna wait a few days to know if it is compatible with the jailbreak, or just jailbreak you current firmware.

6.1.1 is compatible with the jailbreak, and evasi0n has been updated to JB the 4S on 6.1.1.
