Jailbreak newb question :)

When I try searching for how to jailbreak I seem to get alot of confusing answers, ways to do it, and different file downloads.

So could someone please post a link to a reliable sight with a step by step and file download so that I can jailbreak my phone.

Also, I have one of the new macbook aluminum's, I have heard that those stop the jailbreak process through their USB port somehow. Will this still be a problem if you are bootcamped into vista?

1st you should post in the hacks forum head to iclarified.com to instructions and download.

I don't know about your Vista problem, but heres a basic How-To


1)Restore you phone. Back up everything that you have. (Do Not update to 2.2.1 if you're on your Mac)
2)Run QuickPwn (www.quickpwn.com)
3) Follow what Quickpwn says. You don't need to check the Activate box if you're with AT&T. You don't really need Installer, you do need Cydia though.
4) Restore from Back-Up in iTunes.
