I am trying to find out if it is possible to Jailbreak the 3G iPhone, i have a genuine activated phone on O2 in the uk. But i would like access to some of the apps that i had on my 2G iPhone, such as orb, and miniproxy so i can tether the phone and take advantage of my new 3G connection.

Anyone got any ideas?

Cheers

Gareth

not yet. . .but it is possible. the code just hasn't been released yet.

the dev team normally released their code on sundays. . .maybe it will be the same this time?

Ok thanks i will keep an eye on the forums. It's such a pain they don't make an easy way to tether the iPhone, and i guess any app that does is unlikely to make it's way into the app store as it probably breaches some t&c somewhere along the road!!

Rubbish!!
