iPad Jailbreak OTA updated ipad 8.0 to 8.1

Is it possible to jb OTA updated iPad mini (8.0 to 8.1) if the transition to 8.0 from iOS 7 was done via clean iTunes restore?

possible yes....will it work, not sure....why don't you just do a clean restore to 8.1 again and than jailbreak.... just to be on the safe side...

Did a backup and jailbroke anyway without clean restore, worked like charm.

If it gives you bugs and issues in the near future you will not be able to restore to 8.1 and JB.
You'd be stuck on stock ios waiting.
If you want to cut corners, do it the fast and easy way and take the risk its up to you.
Not recommended though.

It works.. but you will likely run into problems later. Good luck with that.. it saved you maybe 15 minutes now, but may cost you your jailbreak in the near future.
