jailbreak problem

jst got an iphone 3g,came with a sim unlock, but its nt responding in itunes
it tells me to insert a sim from an authorised carrier(deres a tmobile sim in it)
am trying to jailbreak it but since its not open i cant hit the restore button
to jailbreak... pls i need help

first of all, try to restart and then restore...otherwise put it on airplane mode and it should enable restoring.

No need to restore... Just put it into Airplane Mode, and then use QuickPwn.
