Im in the process of downgrading from 1.1.2 to 1.1.1. Ive just kicked the phone out of DFU mode with iPhuc and i installed installer and oktoprep. The guides say now to open itunes and click update. All im getting is a screen that shows my iphone and it asks me to set up a new phone. it either lets me restore a backup of my old phone or set up a new phone. What do i choose here? Why isnt there a update option?

haha ok it seems to be working now. I didnt want to click somthing i shouldnt and mess somthing up. Thanks

OK another problem. I just clicked restore from my old phone at that screen but now im back at the restore screen. My iphone has the connect to itunes logo and the only option itunes gives me is to restore it. There isnt an update button anywhere.

Something must have gone wrong somewhere along the way. Just try again from the beginning (start with restoring the iPhone to 1.1.2, then put it in DFU mode, downgrade to 1.1.1, kick it out of restore mode, etc...)
