I got a new 3G iPhone and wanted to give the wife my original one. I did the QuickPwn program and seemed to work fine. Now what? I know simplistic question, but I can't connect to the App Store on the iphone to download some new apps for her. What do I need to do next?

Did you connect the iPhone to your computer and access the App Store that way yet? What error did you get on the phone when trying to access the App Store? May just need to try it in iTunes first. Just let me know what message/error you may get on the iPhone. I may be able to help you out.

Try syncing with iTunes, which should be signed into the iTunes store.

I'm using my computer with my new iPhone...do I need to do the old one that I am turning into the "itouch" on a different computer and different itunes account?
