I'm really new to Iphone, and heard a lot about jailbreaking and am really interested, I know now how to do it but I have one question I cant find an answer to.. In case I need to get the phone to warranty service, can jailbreaking be undone and phone be originally restored and functioning again? if so... how do I do that? Thanks. BTW it an iphone 3g.

Depends on what happens to the phone. If the phone will not start and you cannot restore then then answer is no you will not be able to restore / put the phone into a factory condition. Otherwise, yes you will be able to re-image the phone to factory firmware. Honestly, if the phone died and would not power on you probably you not have to worry anyway about Apple checking to see if the software was jailbroken.

In a word yes. Restoring the iPhone to "factory condition" is very easy...just do a normal restore. Jailbreaking may have been a risky endeavor in the past, but now it's not a big leap at all because even if you have issue a restore puts you right back to "factory condition". Is it possible for something to go wrong and your truly brick you phone. Sure anything is possible, but the risks are pretty darn low...that's why so many people do it these days.
