iPhone Jailbreak waiting game

Is the current wait for iphone 5 jailbreak longer, average, or less (so far) than after the previous new hardware releases? I'm holding back on iphone 5 purchase until I know this thing is jailbreakable.

Less so far. Absinthe took almost five months from dev-beta to full release untethered on iOS 5, 4s devices. Might as well settle in, make some popcorn...............

iOS 6 greenpois0n tethered is stable on my A4 device right now, and Cydia works fine.. but all the tweaks need re-tooling. That's where we stand for now.
