I currently have an iPhone 4S running iOS 6.0.1, I upgraded to IOS 6.0 BETA (I have dev licenses), and than upgraded to 6.0

Somehow I have SHSH blobs for 5.1.1

(I don't remember saving them)

If I downgrade to iOS 5.1.1 is there a way for me to upgrade to 6.0, so I can get the tethered 6.0 JB.

Thanks.

lots of miss info in this thread it seems.. you can't downgrade a 4S from 6.0.1 to 5.1.1 even with shsh blobs. Also the 4S JB 5.1.1 is a untethered.

Ehhh, i don't think so, unless the Devs think of a new way to downgrade

They specifically said this in their blog:

iPad3, i4S (and iPad2 owners who don’t satisfy #2) will always be able to RE-restore the current 5.x OS that’s already on their device. *So if you’re at 5.1.1 when the window closes (and you’ve saved your blobs), you’ll always be able to RE-restore to 5.1.1 again. *This makes the 5.1.1 jailbreak a lot less fragile — you don’t have to worry about messing up your install with funky extensions or getting into a boot loop, because you can always RE-restore from 5.1.1 to 5.1.1 again (or from 5.0.1 to 5.0.1 again, etc). *But once you fall off the 5.x train by restoring to 6.x, you’ll be stuck there until the next jailbreak.

I think they mean you are stuck on stock iOS 6 until a new jailbreak comes out, i doubt you will be able to restore to lower firmware, but we can always hope for it.
