Jailbreak?

Okay i have finally made the decision to jailbreak. i have a few questions first so bear with me.
1. if i restore do i have to reregister my phone like i did when i first got it?
2. i have 1.1.2 how do i go back to 1.1.1?
3. where can i get apps?
4. is jailbreakme.com the best to do so?
