I don't understand how Apple will create an app store. As far as I can reason there won't be an OFFICIAL app store.
First of all there is no harddrive right? So the 8GB internal is used for caching, OS, and what not. I doubt they would create an app store, so you can use some of that harddrive for apps. First it would maybe at most be 5GB. And thats smaller than the first iPhone's size... seems like a step down.
Ofcourse jailbreakers probably won't mind to create an unofficial appstore.
I thought the 4GB wasn't "made" for apps though. It didn't come till the 3G(?) I know the 4GB could support apps but it wasnt made for it.There was a 4GB iPhone![]()

You will need very little storage for Apple TV apps. I would guess less than 500MB of storage and that is being high, so 8GB is more than plenty. Most storage on iPhones are used for music, photos, and video, which will not be stored on an Apple TV. Remember also apps would be limited to remote input only so only very few games would ma,ke the jump, I think most apps on the AppleTV would be limited to video and music clients which again consume little space.
