Jailbreaking 2.1 with latest iTunes 8.1

Hi all,

I know this has been asked before loads and you're all probably getting tired of it.

I've had my iPhone since launch and it's been on an 02 contract since. I'm tempted to now jailbreak it, so i can see what other features it can do without Apple stopping us.

Can i Jailbreak 2.1 using iTunes 8.1 (latest?) on a Mac. If so, who can link me to a guide and is there anything i need to know?

Yes and it works great. See the iClarified link above. The only thing you might want to do is uninstall your downloaded apps first. I had a bunch of them and for some reason it wouldnt work until I uninstalled. Once jailbroken, you can reinstall them.

Thanks for all the info.

I did google and search on here, but nowhere says whether it works with iTunes 8.1 - as i heard that lots of people were having issues due to new protection in iTunes.
