Bottom Line: You won't brick it. You can always restore if there are any problems

Make it rain!!!

The only way you could brick it is by turning it into a brick with magic and that's not possible because magic's still in closed beta and I'm out of invites.

Also, it seems like it's a lot easier for any device besides the iPhone 3G. It took me at least half a dozen tries before blackra1n finally worked for me, you just need to have patience. Good luck!

aah, well ive got the 3G, ill give it a few goes then.....

thanks for your help!

I made it rain and mine ****ed up if im honest...could of been user error but I don't see how...All's that I installed was Winterboard and it ****ed it up.

i tried to Make it rain on my brothers 3g and after 4 tries nothing happend. phone would reboot and it said it was successful but no jailbreak. I found it easier to downgrade since the phone was already on 3.1, use redsnow and update to 3.1.2 via custom fw.

I feel sorry for some of you Blackra1n users. (Quote >>>I had to try 6 times)

I JB 2 phones yesterday and only had to run Pwnage Tool one time to JB 2 phones.

Agreed! It was worth it to me to borrow a friends MB Pro and create my own custom firmware. 10 minutes to build it, then 10 minutes more to jailbreak. One process, one time, no issues. Dev Team Rocks!

Took me one time to make it rain! Jailbroken within 45 seconds. I was busy customizing the 19 minutes and 15 seconds while they were finishing up their jailbreak. :p
