Well, im just doing it for a friend. I realized this procedure has to be done with blackra1n. Will i lose all the apps after jailbreaking the device?

If you mean apps store apps, no, they will all sync back along with contacts, calendar, music, movies, notes, ringtones as long as you do a sync/backup before you jailbreak.
