Hi, I've upgraded to a 6+ but still plan to keep my old 5. Would like to jailbreak the 5 to mess around with/use it essentially as an ipod. I was wondering if any problems/issues could come up trying to backup and jailbreak an old phone? Is there anything I should be aware of or any steps I should take on the 5, such as trying off imessage, etc. before doing the jailbrake? Mainly just want to make sure nothing on the 6+ will change or be affected at all. Any tips/help would be very much appreciated! Thanks!

There shouldn't be any problems JB'ng your 5. It doesn't have Touch ID, but no harm in backing up and turning off Find my phone, put in Airplane mode and disable passcode before you JB just in case. What IOS is it on?

Thanks for the tips! It's currently running 8.0. Should I stick with that version for the jailbreak?
