I've had an iPhone since day one, but have yet to jailbreak any generation of them until now. My sole motivation being backgrounder.

But it has me thinking, now that I've jailbroken my 3GS, is there any way to sync multiple exchange accounts?

I always thought it was an issue with the protocal. As all devices using activesync have this limit. Microsofts site even mentions this.

No, it can't be a limitation of ActiveSync, because there is/was a registry hack which I used to regularly use on WinMo phones which enabled an unlimited number of exchange accounts. Would love to see someone figure out a way to get this going on the iPhone. Here's a link which explains the WinMo hack:

Someone want to take a go at this?

though there may be many Exchange users who would love to see this, I wouldn't hold my breath, as it'll take a hacker to do so. And no hacker is going to be using Exchange as his mail server, so they won't care unless they just want to please those of you who use Exchange.

just my 2 cents though. As my girlfriend would be glad to tell you, I've been wrong before.

Interesting. I got the impression it will sync the data between the two? Is that true?

It's a good thing this guy has insider knowledge into what kind of email thousands of people wouldn't use..

I don't remember saying or implying that I did. But come on, what hacker, by choice, is going to be a Microsoft user? Of course you've got the chance that one of them is stuck in a huge soul-less corporation who uses Outlook/Exchange.

Actually, there is an app "AddExchange" in Cydia you can download which enable you to have multiple exchange accounts. I have not used this app for my self but, seems like its working.

Thanks
